League Participation Requirements

To ensure a fair and competitive environment, all participants must meet the following requirements to join and compete in the league. These criteria are designed to maintain integrity and consistency throughout the league season.

4.1.1

Eligibility Criteria

4.1.1.1 Player Eligibility

  • Age Requirement: Participants must meet the minimum age requirement as specified for the league (16 years old). Age verification may be required.
  • Regional Restrictions: Players must reside in the allowed regions or countries as specified for the league. Proof of residence may be required.
  • Previous Conduct: Players with a history of serious violations or bans in other tournaments or leagues may be ineligible.

  • Team Composition: Teams must meet the required composition and size as specified by the league ( 8 players for a standard team). Teams must be registered with accurate member information.
  • Team Name: Teams must choose an appropriate and non-offensive team name that adheres to league guidelines. Offensive or inappropriate names will be rejected.

  • Roster Submission: Teams must submit a complete roster, including player id, names and any additional required information.

4.1.3

League Requirements

  • Adherence to Rules: All players and teams must adhere to the league’s rules and regulations, including match rules, conduct codes, and any other league-specific guidelines.
  • Updates and Changes: Participants must stay informed of any updates or changes to league rules and adjust their play accordingly.

Participation Fees

4.1.4.1 Registration Fees

  • Fee Structure: Some leagues may require registration fees. The fee structure will be detailed during the registration process.
  • Payment Deadline: Fees must be paid by the specified deadline to secure a team’s place in the league.

4.1.4.2 Refunds

  • Refund Policy: Refunds may be available under certain conditions, such as withdrawal before the registration deadline or exceptional circumstances. Review the league’s refund policy for details.

Attendance and Punctuality

  • Adherence to Schedule: Teams and players must adhere to the match schedule provided by the league. Delays or rescheduling requests should be communicated to league officials in advance.

Conduct and Sportsmanship

  • Handling Disputes: Any disputes or issues must be reported to league officials promptly. The league will handle disputes according to its established procedures.

Withdrawal and Termination

4.1.7.1 Voluntary Withdrawal

  • Withdrawal Process: Teams or players wishing to withdraw from the league must notify the league officials as soon as possible. Refunds or replacements may be subject to league policies.

4.1.7.2 Termination by League

  • Termination Conditions: The league reserves the right to terminate a player’s or team’s participation for failure to meet requirements or severe rule violations. Participants will be notified of the reasons for termination.

4.2

Points System and Ranking

The points system and ranking structure in the league are designed to ensure fair competition and transparent progression throughout the season. This system determines each team’s or player’s standing based on their performance in matches and tournaments.

4.2.1

Points Allocation

4.2.1.1 Match Wins

  • Victory Points: Teams or players will earn points for winning a match. The standard points awarded for a win are [3 points].
  • Draws: In the case of a draw (if applicable), both teams will be awarded [1 point] each.
  • Losses: No points will be awarded for a loss unless otherwise specified in specific tournament rules.

4.2.1.2 Bonus Points

    • Fastest Victory: Winning a match within a specified time limit.

  • Promotion: Teams are finishing in the top positions at the end of the league season may be promoted to a higher division or tier for the next season, depending on the league structure.
  • Relegation: Teams or players finishing in the bottom positions may be relegated to a lower division or tier.

4.2.3

Leaderboards and Updates

4.2.3.1 Leaderboard Visibility

  • Public Leaderboards: The current rankings and points standings will be updated regularly and made available on the league page.
  • Individual and Team Rankings: Both individual player rankings (if applicable) and team rankings will be displayed for transparency.

4.2.3.2 Ranking Updates

  • Regular Updates: Rankings will be updated after each match or round, with detailed points breakdowns for each team or player.
  • Final Standings: At the end of the league season, final standings will be posted, determining playoff qualifications, promotions, or relegations.

4.3

Match Scheduling

Proper match scheduling ensures that all games are played in a timely and organized manner. It is crucial that all teams and players adhere to the match schedule to maintain the flow of the tournament or league.

4.3.1

Match Schedule Announcement

4.3.1.1 Schedule Release

  • Official Schedule: The official match schedule will be released by the league or tournament organizers prior to the start of the season or tournament.
  • Notification: Teams and players will be notified of their scheduled matches via the official tournament platform, email, or other designated communication channels.
  • Advance Notice: Schedules will be provided with sufficient advance notice (e.g., [3-5 days]) to allow teams to prepare and organize.

4.3.1.2 Schedule Format

  • Date and Time: Each match will have a specific date and time listed, and all players are expected to be available to play at the scheduled time.
  • Time Zones: Schedules will be provided in a designated time zone (+6:00 GMT), and it is the responsibility of the teams to adjust for their local time zones.

4.3.2

Match Rescheduling

4.3.2.1 Request for Reschedule

  • Valid Reasons: Teams may request to reschedule a match due to valid reasons such as technical difficulties, personal emergencies, or team availability issues.
  • Rescheduling Process: Rescheduling requests must be submitted to the tournament or league officials at least [6 hours] before the match is set to start. Both teams involved in the match must agree to the new time.
  • Approval Required: The reschedule is only valid once approved by the league managers, who will notify both teams of the new time.

4.3.2.2 Late Requests

  • Last-Minute Changes: Rescheduling requests made within [6 hours] of the match will only be considered for emergencies or exceptional circumstances and may be denied if they disrupt the tournament flow.
  • Automatic Forfeiture: If a rescheduling request is not approved and the team does not show up for the match, they may face an automatic forfeit (see No-Show Policy).

  • Check-In Time: Teams and players are required to check in [10-15 minutes] before the scheduled match time.

  • Server or Connection Issues: If a match is delayed due to server issues or connection problems outside of the players’ control, the tournament officials may extend the match start time or reschedule the match.
  • Player Equipment Issues: Players experiencing hardware or software issues must report them to tournament officials immediately. A reasonable attempt to resolve the issue will be made before considering a reschedule.

4.3.4.2 Mid-Match Interruptions

  • Disconnects: In the event of a disconnect or technical failure during the match, the match may be paused or restarted depending on the tournament rules and the timing of the interruption.
  • Official Decision: Tournament officials will decide whether the match will continue, be restarted, or rescheduled based on the specific circumstances.

4.3.5

Time Zone Considerations

4.3.5.1 Cross-Region Matches

  • Global Participation: For leagues or tournaments with international participants, matches may be scheduled across various time zones.
  • Time Zone Coordination: Teams should ensure they are aware of time zone differences and prepare accordingly. It is the responsibility of the teams to manage these differences and appear at the correct match time.

4.3.5.2 Local Adjustments

  • Local Time Confirmation: Teams are advised to confirm their match time in their local time zone to avoid confusion and potential late arrivals.

4.3.6

Playoff and Finals Scheduling

4.3.6.1 Flexible Scheduling

  • Final Matches: Playoff and final match schedules may have more flexible time slots to accommodate both teams. These matches may be scheduled based on team availability, with approval from tournament officials.
  • Extended Play: If the playoffs or finals involve multiple matches or rounds, all participants must be prepared for extended play times.
